The Qualifying for Disability of Epilepsy in South Korea

In 2019, the Act on Registration of Persons with Disabilities in South Korea was amended. However, there are several problems related to confirmation disability patients medically intractable epilepsy, and only a few have been registered. The revised regulations aim for customized welfare; however, epilepsy disadvantages as estimation degree disability. Epilepsy disorders should be judged based medical records which type frequency seizures, well treatment, presented detail. For who qualify status, solid record maintained by doctor charge is paramount importance. Key words: Epilepsy; Disability; Regulation.
